Operated by Methodist Home for Children in partnership with the Department of Public Safety, our Juvenile Assessment & Crisis centers provide a comprehensive juvenile assessment in a residential setting with the goal of matching the youth to the most appropriate services in his or her community. The assessment takes place under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and licensed clinical case managers.

We are currenlty seeking a Clinical Case Manager to write individualized service plans for youth, under the direction of a licensed Psychologist, and serving as the primary liaison for the families and court services staff.

What does a Clinical Case Manager do?

Clincal Case Managers 

  • Receive and assess referral information prior to admission. Arrange the intake process at admission.
  • Join with and support families as their child goes through the assessment process.
  • Arrange Child and Family Team Meetings.
  • Provide Family Crisis Counseling as recommended by the Standardized Program Evaluation Protocol (SPEP).
  • Successfully complete training in relevant assessment tools to ensure reliability.
  • Administer testing as licensure allows including scoring, interpretation and summarizing.
  • Assist and collaborate with the Psychologist in the writing of the report.
  • Participate in Clinical Supervision
  • Fulfill any and all supervision requirements established by the relevant Board in the State of North Carolina to either obtain or maintain licensure/certification.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining productive community resources to support program and client rehabilitation objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Coordinator, Chief Psychologist, Psychologist or Director.


Are you qualified?

Qualified candidates will

  • possess a Master's degree in a human services field;
  • be licensed by the relevant state board;
  • have two years of experience providing therapeutic services.

This opportunity requires a valid NC driver's license, the ability to pass required screenings and trainings, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
